Jewers Fenestration Continuing Education
Has your firm been tasked with the design of a Fire Station? In the design of that Fire Station; one of the most important features is the functionality of the apparatus bays and the way in which apparatus enters into & exits the building.
A component of that design inherently calls for a door assembly of some type; and you may have heard the term “Four-Fold” come up in the preliminary design meetings. As is the case behind Jewers’ development of it’s AIA Continuing Education Courses, to assist your firm in the design considerations of utilizing a Four-Fold door to meet that demand.
While there are indeed many benefits behind the consideration of using a Four-Fold door (some listed below); there are also some implications (i.e. cost, clearances, bay depths, etc.) which need to be fully explored as your design team delves into this endeavor.
With this in mind, Jewers’ has developed it’s AIA CEU – Fenestration Series; providing your team access to our decades of experience in designing specialized door assemblies.
